An independent monitor said at least 735 people were arrested at anti-war demonstrations across Russia on Thursday, as anger mounted over the invasion of Ukraine.
"More than 735 people have been detained in 40 cities," said OVD-Info, which tracks arrests at opposition rallies.
It added that 330 people had been detained in the capital Moscow alone.
