Social media is buzzing after NBC correspondant Ayman Mohyeldin has been announced as getting pulled from Gaza.

Some are speculating that it could be due to a somewhat sardonic tweet, since deleted, that he posted on his twitter feed:

The reporter has been condemned in some quarters as a "Hamas spokesman."
