Security cabinet to discuss expanding operations at Friday 11:00am

The Israeli security cabinet will convene at 11:00am Friday morning in Tel Aviv, according to Haaretz, to discuss an expansion of the military operation.

Some politicians and commentators in Israel have been pushing for a ground invasion of the strip. One military official described the likelyhood of such a move as "very high."
