Thousands gather in London to demand release of captives in Gaza

Thousands of people rallied in London's Trafalgar Square on Sunday to call for the release of captives held in Gaza since the start of the war on 7 October.

Attendees at the protest read out the names of the captives, while others who have relatives who are being held captive described the events which unfolded.

A similar protest was held outside the United Nations' Palais des Nations headquarters in Geneva, where hundreds of people called for the release of captives. Many of them held photos of the missing Israelis, while others held signs which read "set them free".

The rally follows a mass pro-Palestine held on Saturday, where hundreds of thousands called for a ceasefire and for Israel to stop its bombardment of Gaza.
