Al Jazeera is reporting that two Palestinians have been killed and several others wounded in an Israeli bombing of a vehicle in Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.
Egypt's national carrier, EgyptAir, cancelled flights to and from Beirut starting on Tuesday, according to the country's state-run newspaper, Al Qahera News.
Israeli air strikes on Lebanon killed at least 492 people on Monday, Lebanon's health ministry announced in its latest death toll.
Thirty-five children and 58 women were among those killed, while a further 1,645 people have been injured in the strikes.
Lebanon's National News Agency is reporting that an entire family was killed by an Israeli air strike near the coastal city of Tyre.
The strike killed a retired army colonel, his wife and three daughters were killed in the strike.
After Israel launched an air strike in southern Beirut that targeted senior Hezbollah commander Ali Karaki, the Lebanese movement released a statement saying that Karaki is alive and has "moved to a safe place".
Lebanon's National News Agency is reporting that two houses were struck by Israeli air strikes in the village of Rasm al-Hadath, near the city of Baalbek.
The news agency reported that there were deaths and injuries without further elaboration.
Israeli air strikes on Lebanon have killed at least 356 people on Monday, Lebanon's health ministry announced in its latest death toll.
Twenty four children and 42 women were among those killed, while a further 1,246 people have been injured in the strikes.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian told a group of reporters that Israel is seeking to create an all-out war in the Middle East, adding that Tehran does "not wish to be the cause of instability in the Middle East as its consequences would be irreversible".
"We want to live in peace. We don't want war," he told reporters after his arrival in New York for the UN General Assembly. "It is Israel that seeks to create this all-out conflict."
Pezeshkian also said that Iran will "defend any group that is defending its rights and itself", without elaborating.
Hezbollah, backed by Iran, has vowed to retaliate against Israel's recent escalation with equal force but has stressed it is only continuing its most recent conflict with Israel until a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel is achieved in Gaza.
Israeli forces launched five air strikes on Qaliya, a town in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley, according to the country's state-run National News Agency.
One strike targeted a residential building in Dallafa, and two other raids struck Karak and Nabi Aila, towns in the central Beqaa Valley.
Lebanese security sources have warned that the Israeli military escalation is likely to intensify over the coming days, but as of now they are not predicting Israel will launch a ground invasion.
“Israel knows that if it infiltrates Lebanon, the Lebanese army and Hezbollah will have military superiority on the ground,” one source told Middle East Eye.
“If the Israeli army carries out a ground invasion, the Lebanese army will participate with Hezbollah in confronting and defending.”

Israel kills at least 274 in Lebanon and orders thousands to flee their homes
Chief of staff of the Israeli army, General Herzi Halevi, said Israel is preparing for the next phases of its military escalation in Lebanon.
On Monday, Israel launched a wave of air strikes that killed at least 274 people and injured more than a thousand others.
"Essentially, we are targeting combat infrastructure that Hezbollah has been building for the past 20 years. This is very significant. We are striking targets and preparing for the next phases," he said in a statement.
Halevi said he would "elaborate" on the details shortly.
Jordan announced it would be suspending flights operated by the country's carriers to Beirut until further notice.
Israel launched a deadly series of air strikes on Lebanon on Monday, killing at least 274 people.
United Nations secretary general Antonio Guterres' spokesperson, Stephane Dujarric, has said that Guterres is alarmed by the escalating situation in Lebanon.
Dujarric added that Guterres is concerned about the high number of civilian casualties being reported by Lebanese authorities.
The Pentagon said that the US is sending additional troops to the Middle East, citing the escalation between Israel and Hezbollah.
The Pentagon did not provide a specific number of troops.
"Out of an abundance of caution, we are sending a small number of additional US military personnel forward to augment our forces that are already in the region," Pentagon spokesperson Patrick Ryder told reporters.
"We have more capability in the region today than we did on April 14th when Iran conducted its drone and missile attack against Israel," Ryder said.
An air strike on southern Beirut targeted Ali Karaki, the head of Hezbollah's southern command, in the parking area of his building, security sources told Middle East Eye. His fate remains unclear.
