Israel vowed that it will continue "powerful strikes" across the Middle East as it assesses damage from Iran's missile attack.
Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said Israel's air force "continues to operate at full capacity, and tonight will also continue to strike powerfully in the Middle East".
He added that Israeli and US air defence systems operated effectively.
"There was close cooperation in detection and interception," he said.
Iran targeted an Israeli gas platform off the coast of Gaza in its attack on Israel, according to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.
US-based energy company Chevron owns a stake in and operates the Tamar platform, which is roughly 13 miles off the coast of the Gaza Strip.
Reports did not suggest whether the platform was damaged.
One Palestinian man has been reported killed during Iran's attack on Israel.
The man was killed when a projectile landed near the occupied West Bank city of Jericho.
Hussein Hamayel, the Palestinian governor of the area, confirmed his death, saying he was killed from falling shrapnel. The man was originally from Gaza.
Hamas released a statement praising Iran's attack on Israel.
The Palestinian group thanked Iran for the attack, in what Tehran said was in retaliation for the killings of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, and Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Abbas Nilforoushan.
Iraqi militias have threatened to target US forces in the country, if Iran is attacked in retaliation for today's missile strike on Israel.
Iraq is home to US troops and bases that have previously come under attack from armed groups supported by Iran.
