The United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees warned about "appalling and apocalyptic" conditions in Gaza on Thursday.
The UN has repeatedly warned about the acute humanitarian crisis in the besieged Gaza Strip, exacerbated by the war that has persisted for more than 14 months.
"Conditions for people across the Gaza Strip are appalling and apocalyptic," UNRWA spokeswoman Louise Wateridge said during a visit to Nuseirat in central Gaza.
She added that life-saving aid to "besieged areas in north Gaza governorate has been largely blocked" since the Israeli military launched a sweeping assault there in early October.
The death toll from an Israeli attack on Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on Thursday has risen to 33, according to Palestinian officials.
The Gaza government media office called the attack “barbaric and [a] heinous massacre".
Most of the dead are women and children, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported earlier.
A Palestinian family has been evicted from their home in the village of Jalbun, east of Jenin, by Israeli soldiers on Thursday, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
The family of Ahmad Omar Abu al-Rob was evicted from the third floor of their house by Israeli soldiers who turned the apartment into a military post.

The South American nation of Paraguay formally opened its new Jerusalem embassy in Israel on Thursday, as Israel faces isolation on the world stage over its war on Gaza and Lebanon.
The move is a victory for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who attended the ceremony with Paraguay's President Santiago Pena.

Lebanon's Prime Minister Najib Mikati condemned the atack as a "blatant act of betrayal," and called on the US and France, who brokered the ceasefire agreement, to curb Israeli aggression.
Mikati added that Israel's ceasefire violations should be addressed by the Monitoring Commttee responsible for the implementation of the ceasefire, and demanded immediate action to prevent further escalation.

Israeli forces completed their first withdrawal from a town in southern Lebanon, handing control to the Lebanese military under a ceasefire agreement, the US Central Command (Centcom) said on Wednesday.

A suspected Palestinian shooting attack on an Israeli bus in the occupied West Bank killed a 10-year-old boy named Yehoshua Aharon Tuvia Simha, and injured four others overnight between Wednesday and Thursday, Israeli emergency services said.
The Israeli military said its forces were in pursuit of the gunman and had set up roadblocks and encircled an area near the Palestinian city of Bethlehem.
