US President Donald Trump has claimed in a post on his TruthSocial platform that attacks by Yemen's Houthi militia "all emanate from, and are created by, IRAN".

He accused Tehran of "dictating every move" taken by the group and warned that any further attack "will be met with great force" and that "there is no guarantee that that force will stop there".

“Every shot fired by the Houthis will be looked upon, from this point forward, as being a shot fired from the weapons and leadership of IRAN, and IRAN will be held responsible, and suffer the consequences, and those consequences will be dire!”

Egypt has held a conference to discuss the reconstruction of Gaza's healthcare system. The meeting was attended by over 100 ambassadors, government representatives and NGOs.

Israeli attacks have systematically targeted Gaza's health facilities since it launched its war on the enclave in October 2023. OCHA estimated that out of its 36 hospitals, only 17 remained partially functional by early December 2024.

Footage circulated online showed a heavily damaged Palestinian home collapsing in the al-Fakhoura area of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.

Around 30 people, mostly women and children, were sheltering in the three-storey house, according to journalist Islam Badr who posted the video. Badr confirmed all the residents were evacuated, with no casualties reported.

Houthi leader Abdulmailk al-Houthi called for mass protests following US strikes in Yemen killed at least 53 people, including women and children, on Saturday.

Al-Houthi called for a "million-strong march" across the country to coincide with the anniversary of the Battle of Badr - a major military victory led by the Prophet Muhammad in the seventh century.

On Sunday, the group claimed attacks on a US aircraft carrier and its warships, state TV Al-Misrah reported.

Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani called on states to "firmly confront" Israel's "starvation policy" against Palestinians in Gaza.

In a statement issued by the foreign ministry on Monday, Sheikh Mohammed said that the international community must “shoulder its responsibilities to address the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza".

UN children’s agency Unicef has warned that "one million children in Gaza are struggling to survive without basic necessities" as the humanitarian crisis worsens, with Israel continuing to block all aid.

“It is urgent to allow at least some water and electricity into the enclave to save children’s lives,” said Unicef regional director Edouard Beigbeder, speaking from Deir el-Balah in central Gaza.

Israeli forces have issued orders to seize approximately 12 hectares (30 acres) of land in Jalboun, a town north of Jenin, according to local officials.

The mayor of Jalboun, Ibrahim Abu al-Rab, told Wafa news agency that troops entered the town and delivered notices confirming the planned confiscation of farmland in its southern area.

He stated that the land belongs to the local residents who cultivated it with olive trees for over 50 years.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli authorities seized about of half a hectare of privately owned land in February and allocated around 1,600 hectares (3,950 acres) for use by settlers as grazing land.

An Israeli air strike killed three Palestinian men in the Gaza Strip, medics said on Monday, and there was no sign of progress at renewed ceasefire talks.

Medics said the three men were killed near Bureij camp in the centre of the devastated Palestinian enclave by a missile fired from a drone.

In Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, medics said three people were wounded in another airstrike. Rafah residents have reported frequent fire by Israeli forces deployed in areas adjacent to the border inside the city boundaries.

Israel wants to extend the ceasefire's first phase, a proposal backed by US envoy Steve Witkoff. Hamas says it will resume freeing captives only under the second phase that was due to begin on 2 March.

"Hamas has complied fully with the agreement, while the occupation (Israel) didn't comply with some clauses. It (Israel) seeks to foil the agreement and impose new conditions," Hamas spokesperson Abdel-Latif Al-Qanoua said on Monday.

Three more people were arrested at dawn in Qaffin near besieged Tulkarem.

In Hebron, Israeli forces detained a former prisoner in Qalqas and raided several homes in the city's east. Another arrest was reported south of Hebron.

Israel currently has 9,406 Palestinians behind bars, with 3,405 imprisoned without charges.

China on Monday called for "dialogue" and a de-escalation of tensions in the Red Sea after Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed to have twice attacked a US aircraft carrier group within 24 hours.

"China opposes any action that escalates the situation in the Red Sea," foreign ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning told a regular briefing.

"The reasons behind the situation in the Red Sea and the Yemen issue are complex and should be properly resolved through dialogue and negotiation," Mao said.

The Houthis said their attacks were retaliation for deadly US strikes.

Aid workers in the Palestinian territories told AFP they are concerned that rules recently floated by Israel could make already difficult humanitarian work "almost impossible".

Since the start of Israel's war on Gaza, aid organisations have been contending with a "slippery slope" when it comes to Israeli authorities' tolerance for their work, said one senior NGO staffer.

But after COGAT, the Israeli body responsible for overseeing Palestinian affairs, presented a plan last month for reorganising aid distribution, that slope has gotten "much steeper", with some NGOs deeming the proposed changes unacceptable, she added.

The staffer and others interviewed requested anonymity for fear of repercussions for their operations in the occupied West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip.

"The ability to deliver aid and adhere to humanitarian principles in Gaza, the access restrictions we're facing in the West Bank... All of these things, when you put them together, you just feel like you're watching the apocalypse," she said.

"We basically have a fire extinguisher trying to put out a nuclear bomb."

Philippe Lazzarini, head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, says it has been “stressful” leading Unrwa during the war on Gaza but says he is confident he is "on the right side of history".

In January, claiming Unrwa had ties to Hamas, Israel passed a law banning the agency from operating in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Lazzarini decried "an extraordinary war of disinformation" against the agency that threatened to collapse the aid group, jeopardising “the life and survival of civilians” there.

“I have been given a voice, and obviously I need to use this voice,” Lazzarini said. “That is the minimum we owe to the Palestinian refugees who are pretty voiceless.”

Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians this morning in Susiya, in the southern occupied West Bank, injuring two people, according to locals.

Palestinians from the village located south of Hebron told The Times of Israel that eight masked men and one known settler from the area came to the village and began throwing stones at the residents. They say the men also destroyed a few olive trees.

Two Palestinians, a 60-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman, were lightly injured.
