According to the ship and container tracking site Vessel Finder, the Ever Golden, which is Japanese-owned and sails under the flag of Panama, was sailing off the coast of West Africa on Tuesday morning.
It is expected to reach Piraeus on 14 July. Once it arrives there, its cargo is intended to be moved to another container ship, the Folk Dammam, and taken on to Israel.

He instead called for a "total siege, military crushing, encouraging emigration" of Palestinians out of Gaza and Israeli resettlement of the territory.
A Palestinian official close to the talks told AFP on Tuesday that the talks were ongoing, with a focus on "the mechanisms for implementation, particularly the clauses related to withdrawal and humanitarian aid".

Israeli officials say ongoing ceasefire negotiations in Qatar between Israel and Hamas could still yield a deal, though bridging the remaining gaps may take longer than a few days.
Talks have picked up momentum since Sunday, when indirect discussions began in Doha with the backing of US, Qatari and Egyptian mediators. The renewed push to end the fighting in Gaza coincides with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s trip to Washington.
Netanyahu met US President Donald Trump on Monday. Speaking ahead of the meeting, Trump said a ceasefire and hostage deal could be reached this week. The Israeli leader is also expected to hold talks with Vice President JD Vance on Tuesday.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff, who played a key role in shaping the latest proposal, will head to Doha this week to join the discussions.
The current framework under consideration includes a phased release of Israeli hostages, a gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops from parts of Gaza, and negotiations aimed at reaching a permanent end to the war.
