The Palestinian health ministry is reporting severe oxygen shortages in hospitals across Gaza, adding that this is hampering intensive care and other vital operations.
In a statement, the ministry said that the shortages have been caused by Israeli targeting of 10 central oxygen stations including at al-Shifa Medical Complex, al-Rantisi Hospital, al-Durra Hospital, al-Nasr Complex, the Indonesian Hospital and the Sheikh Radwan clinic.
It added that the stations supplied oxygen to crucial areas including operating rooms, intensive care and emergency wards and neonatal incubators, as well as patients at home.
The ministry warned that oxygen supplied by NGOs could not meet their needs, adding that Israel's barring of the entry of oxygen stations into Gaza will exacerbate the crisis and threaten patients' lives.

The officers were hit while securing the entry of aid trucks through the Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) crossing.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS) has reported that 13 female Palestinian detainees held at Damon prison are suffering increasingly harsh conditions at the hands of the authorities.
The PPS said that the women are forced to stay in cold cells, with windows left open and scarce supplies of clothing and blankets amid wintry temperatures.
According to the statement, the women have suffered particularly harsh treatment at the hands of prison guards. They are reportedly shackled, blindfolded and dragged when they are escorted to meetings with lawyers or relatives.
The detainees have also been frequently and unexpectedly transferred between cells - a measure it says is intended to undermine any sense of stability or routine within the prison.
Some of the women reported prison guards entering their cells during the night while they were asleep. These intrusions have forced the women to sleep with head coverings.

This is contrary to the ceasefire agreement which stipulates that Israel must allow the entry of at least 60,000 temporary homes and 200,000 tents into Gaza during the phase of the agreement.
Gaza's Government Media Office has condemned the move as "a clear evasion of its pledges and obligations" in the ceasefire with Hamas.
"[It] is an explicit declaration of its failure to the agreement," a statement by the office said on Telegram, adding that the refusal "shows the whole world who is the party obstructing the agreement".
Northern Gaza authorities reported that no mobile homes or tents have entered the area.
