Israeli forces kill Palestinian teenager near Jenin
The Israeli military killed a Palestinian teenager in the north of the occupied West Bank on Saturday for allegedly throwing a stone at soldiers.
The Palestinian health ministry said 16-year-old Rayyan Abu Mualla was shot in Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
Video circulated by Palestinian media appears to show soldiers shooting Abu Mualla at close range as he approached them. The Israeli military said in a statement that troops opened fire after Abu Mualla "threw a brick" at them.
The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that soldiers prevented ambulance crews from reaching Abu Mualla, leaving him to bleed to death. Israeli forces later withheld his body.
In a separate incident, west of Jenin, Israeli forces shot and killed 22-year-old Ahmad Zyoud during a raid on the town of Silat al-Harithiya.

The Israeli military said Zyoud was shot after he "hurled an explosive device" towards soldiers.
Israeli violence has soared in the occupied West Bank since Israel launched its war on Gaza two years ago and has continued despite a ceasefire that came into effect in October.
Israeli troops or settlers have killed more than 1,000 Palestinians in the West Bank since the start of the Gaza war, according to an AFP tally based on Palestinian health ministry figures.
Since January, 51 Palestinian minors have been killed in the West Bank by Israeli forces, the Palestinian health ministry reported.
The Colonisation and Wall Resistance Commission said that November alone saw around 2,144 attacks by Israeli forces and settlers against Palestinian civilians and their property, including 1,523 carried out by soldiers and 621 by settlers.
