Good evening Middle East Eye readers.

Today marks the 16th day of the war, which started on 7 October.

While the second aid convoy has entered Gaza today, the United Nations' World Food Programme says that only 0.002 percent of the enclave's immediate relief needs have been met so far.

Over 4,651 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the war, including over 1,873 children, while the Israeli death count stands at 1,400.

At least 20 out of 35 hospitals in Gaza are no longer functioning, exacerbating an already catastrophic humanitarian and healthcare crisis in the strip. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Health reiterated that the international community must stop Israel's repeated threats to bomb and target hospitals.

Here are some of the key developments from today.

- Israel bombed Gaza's Jabalia camp, killing at least 13. The full extent of the damage and casualties is yet to be known.

- Nine Egyptians were wounded in an Israeli explosion on an Egyptian position near the Gaza border, which also destroyed an Egyptian watchtower. The Israeli army later confirmed they fired in the air and that it was an accident that was being investigated.

- Tributes poured in for a prominent Palestinian photojournalist, Rushdi Saraj, killed in an Israeli air strike in Gaza.

- Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinians in Nablus, including a 17-year-old teenager, during a raid, while a 20-year-old was killed near Hebron.

- The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (Unrwa) has said that Gaza is set to totally run out of fuel in three days. The organisation also said that 29 of their staff members, half of them teachers, have been killed since 7 October.

- Palestine's health ministry said that Israel has committed "24 massacres in 24 hours" in Gaza, killing at least 266 people on Sunday.

- Pro-Palestine protests have continued around the world, including in Bosnia and Jordan. In the UK, thousands of protesters demanded the release of Israeli captives from Gaza.

Israeli forces have targeted Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, killing at least 13 people and wounding dozens more, the official Wafa news agency reported.

The strikes hit two houses in the camp, as well as the Albanian mosque, Wafa reported.

Hussain Thaher, a member of Gaza's civil defence crew, told Al Jazeera that the death toll may be more than double what has so far been confirmed.

Thousands of people rallied in London's Trafalgar Square on Sunday to call for the release of captives held in Gaza since the start of the war on 7 October.

Attendees at the protest read out the names of the captives, while others who have relatives who are being held captive described the events which unfolded.

A similar protest was held outside the United Nations' Palais des Nations headquarters in Geneva, where hundreds of people called for the release of captives. Many of them held photos of the missing Israelis, while others held signs which read "set them free".

The rally follows a mass pro-Palestine held on Saturday, where hundreds of thousands called for a ceasefire and for Israel to stop its bombardment of Gaza.

Israel's education minister has said he will remove the curriculum on Greta Thunberg's climate activism following her demonstration of support of Palestine.

In an announcement, the ministry wrote that "her stance disqualifies her as an educational and moral role model, and she is no longer fit to be a source of inspiration for students in Israel".

The young Swedish environmental activist had posted a photo on social media displaying her support with people in Gaza.

Thunberg posted a photo of herself and three others holding signs stating: "Free Palestine", "Climate Justice Now", "This Jew stands with Palestine" and "Stand with Gaza". In the caption, she called for "solidarity with Palestine and Gaza" and an immediate ceasefire.

Israeli human rights organisation B'Tselem told the BBC that since the start of the war on 7 October, it had documented "a concerted and organised effort by settlers to use the fact that the entire international and local attention is focused on Gaza and the north of Israel to try to seize land in the West Bank".

According to data compiled by the rights group, covering the first six days following the start of the war, they recorded at least 46 separate incidents in which it said settlers threatened, physically attacked or damaged the property of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

"A lot of shepherding families and communities have fled because they were threatened in the past week by settlers," said Roy Yellin, a spokesman for B'Tselem told the BBC.

"Settlers have been giving residents a deadline to leave and telling them if they don't they will be harmed. And some villages have been totally emptied out."

Israeli officials are becoming increasingly critical of Gal Hirsch, the minister appointed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, responsible for coordinating the rescue of Israeli captives taken to Gaza.

According to Haaretz, the officials say Hirsch is failing to fulfil his role effectively or contribute anything substantial.

The officials have also criticised him for his decision to be in the centre of the first photo published of Israelis being released from captivity.
