The reports come after an impovised device exploded in Norway at the US embassy in Oslo on Sunday.

The Norwegian police published two images of the suspect, whose face was not visible in surveillance footage.

But police said in a statement that the"individual has still not been identified and we have no specific suspects, " adding that a possible link with the US-Israeli war on Iran is among the lines of inquiry.

Images circulated on social media showed shattered glass outside the main entrance.
