WHO: Increase in hepatitis A cases in Gaza

The World Health Organisation reported on Thursday that there is a growing number of cases of hepatitis A in central Gaza and Rafah, mainly due to contaminated water and the sanitation conditions. 

The virus is spread when a person consumes contaminated food or water of an infected person.
