United Nations spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said on Tuesday that the death of seven people employed by the World Central Kitchen charity in Gaza represents “the inevitable result of the way this war is currently being conducted”.
The United Nations reiterated its call for an immediate ceasefire on humanitarian grounds in the Israel-Palestine war, Dujarric said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu referred to the Israeli air strike that resulted in the deaths of the aid workers as unintentional and described it as “tragic”.
