US and Israeli officials to hold meeting on Rafah invasion

Senior US and Israeli officials will hold a virtual meeting on Thursday about Israel's plan to launch a ground invasion on Rafah, according to Reuters. 

President Joe Biden has urged Israel not to conduct a large-scale offensive in the southern Gaza city, where over 1 million displaced Palestinians are sheltering in tents and makeshift homes.
