Missile attack targets ship off Yemen's coast

A Marshall Islands-flagged bulk carrier was struck by a missile off the Yemeni coast, Reuters is reporting, citing maritime security and shipping sources.

The ship issued a distress call after it was struck by three missiles and began to take on water off the Yemeni port city of Hodeidah in the southern Red Sea,  according to British security firm Ambrey.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but it took place near the site of previous strikes on ships by Yemen's Houthi group.
