Hamas rejects Israeli claim it targeted leaders in Mawasi strike as 'false'

Hamas has dismissed Israel's claim that Saturday's Mawasi strike was targeting the group's leaders as "false."

"It's not the first time Israel claims to target Palestinian leaders, only to be proven false later," the group said in a statement.

At least 71 people were killed in the attack, and another 289 injured, Gaza's health ministry said.
