It will 'take 15 years' to clear the rubble from Gaza: UN

It could take up to "fifteen years" to clear the roughly 40 million tonnes of rubble created by Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip, said the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (Unrwa).
This would require over 100 trucks and cost more than $500m, but is an essential effort because debris created by war can contain unexploded bombs and “harmful substances”, said Unrwa.
