Palestinian journalist shot dead in Jenin

Palestinian journalist Shaza al-Sabbah was shot dead amid ongoing attacks by Palestinian Authority forces against fighters in the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, according to several reports.

According to the director of the Jenin Hospital, Sabbah was shot in the head, and Palestinian news outlets reported that eyewitnesses saw her carrying a child at the time of the shooting.

Several Palestinian news outlets have said that a sniper with the PA security forces killed Sabbah. Middle East Eye cannot independently verify these reports.
