Jenin's longest-serving prisoner to be released as part of ceasefire deal

Israel is expected to release Raed al-Saadi, the longest-serving Palestinian prisoner from Jenin, on Monday as part of its ceasefire deal with Hamas, the Palestinian Prisoners Society says.

Detained in 1989 and sentenced to two life terms plus 20 years, Saadi would have served 36 years in prison.
