Red Cross 'outraged' over treatment of Palestinian prisoners: Report

Israeli newspaper Haaretz is reporting that the Red Cross has expressed "outrage" over the treatment of the 32 Palestinian prisoners recently released by the Israel Prison Service.

Quoting security sources, Haaretz said the Red Cross alleged that the prisoners were handcuffed with their hands raised, wearing bracelets that read "Eternity does not forget".

The Israeli Prison Service spokesperson told Haaretz that "the prison fighters are dealing with the worst of Israel's enemies, and until the last moment on Israeli soil, they will be treated under prison-like rule. We will not compromise on the security of our people".
