Iran warns UN of Trump’s threats, vows to defend itself

Iran has formally notified the UN Security Council of what it calls “reckless and provocative” threats from US President Donald Trump, accusing him of endangering regional stability with his rhetoric.

Tehran said that “any act of aggression will have severe consequences”, reaffirming its right to defend itself against any potential attack.
