The US vows relentless strikes on Yemen until it stops supporting Gaza

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has declared that American forces will continue their attacks on Yemen’s Houthi rebels until the group halts its assaults on ships and drones in the Red Sea.

Speaking to Fox News, Hegseth stated, “The minute the Houthis say they’ll stop shooting at your ships and drones, this campaign will end. Until then, it will be unrelenting.”

He framed the offensive as essential to safeguarding US interests, accusing Iran of enabling the Houthis and warning, “They better back off.”

US President Donald Trump’s recent threat of further attacks has drawn sharp criticism, with the Houthis dismissing it as an attempt to intimidate. The group remains defiant, framing its actions as a response to Israel’s ongoing siege and US aggression.
