Sirens sounds in southern Israel, with rocket intercepted: Report

Air raid sirens sounded at Hatzerim Air Base in southern Israel on Wednesday evening local time, according to Israeli media. 

The reports said that a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip was intercepted over Beersheba in the Negev desert.
