Israeli ambassador expelled from Rwanda genocide conference

The Israeli ambassador to Ethiopia was expelled from a conference on the genocide in Rwanda.

Israel's foreign ministry said Avraham Neguise was removed from an African Union conference held in Addis Ababa after other attendees said they would not take part alongside him.

In a statement, the Israeli foreign ministry said they would "take the necessary diplomatic steps with the relevant parties to clarify the seriousness with which we view this incident."
