Live Blog Update| Israel's genocide in Gaza

Morning update

Good morning Middle East Eye readers,

Here are the major developments from Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza:

  • Human Rights Watch said that Israel has imposed forced displacement on residents of refugee camps in the West Bank, where hundreds of homes were damaged by Israeli attacks, calling it a war crime.

  • Israeli forces continue to storm cities and towns across the West Bank, including Nablus, Beita, Beit Furik and Awarta, amid a widespread campaign of raids and arrests.

  • The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement condemned the "brutal massacre committed by the Zionist enemy against civilians" in the cities of Gaza and Khan Younis.

  • Unrwa Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said that crossings into Gaza must be opened to deliver aid as winter "adds another hardship" to the residents.

  • The Israeli military arrested 40 Palestinians in Beit Ummar, Hebron in the West Bank, as forces continue to raid homes since Wednesday morning.
