Israel's national security minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, on Sunday toured the Negev Bedouin village, sparking anger from residents after police blocked the town’s entrance with concrete blocks this afternoon.
Israeli media reported that Ben Gvir argued with Walid al-Hawashleh, a member of the Israeli parliament.
“We will mow down whoever is bad, I’m not afraid of them, I’m the landlord here,” he told Hawashleh and other Arab lawmakers.
Times of Israel reported that dozens of residents of the Arab village jeered the far-right minister.
