Live Blog Update| Israel's genocide in Gaza

Morning update

Good morning Middle East Eye readers,

Here are the latest updates from Gaza and the region, as Israel has already violated the 10 October ceasefire more than 500 times, killing at least 357 Palestinians:

  • Israel is continuing the bombing in Gaza. In the past few hours, Israeli aircraft launched a series of raids on the Al-Tuffah and Al-Shuja’iyya neighbourhoods, east of Gaza City.

  • The Israeli forces carried out more raids and arrests in the cities of Qalqilya, Tubas and Tulkarm in the northern occupied West Bank, where, since Wednesday morning, more than 60 Palestinians have been arrested and dozens have been forcibly displaced from their homes.

  • Two members of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society were wounded as a result of an attack by the Israeli forces on them in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank.

  • Hamas has condemned the Israeli assault on Gaza and the killing of fighters in Rafah, calling it a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement.
