While the high number of Israeli troops stationed around Gaza today leave many fearful of further bloodshed, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has compiled a concise summary of casualties since the beginning of the Great March of Return in the besieged Gaza Strip since 30 March.
As of Thursday 7 June, the Gaza Health Ministry had reported 131 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces - including 17 killed outside of the context of demonstrations - and 13,900 wounded.
OCHA added that four Israelis were also wounded during the same time period, without giving further information.
