Alexandra Hall Hall is a former British diplomat, and former British ambassador to Georgia, who resigned from the Foreign Office in 2019 because she felt she could no longer represent government policy on Brexit with integrity. Since then, she has become an active commentator on British politics, foreign policy and international affairs. She has a regular column for Byline Times; is a former co-host and regular guest on the Disorder Podcast; and is a trustee or patron for several foundations and campaign organisations, including the European Movement UK, the Commission on Political Power looking at reform of the British political system, and the Eurasia Foundation, a US-based non-profit that promotes civil society, good governance and capacity-building in Eurasia and the Middle East.
