Asia al-Mashraqi is a pioneer in humanitarian and educational work in Yemen. A seasoned leader, she has led numerous sustainable aid projects across the country, guided by a human rights-based approach. She has received major local and international awards, including the Sharjah International Award for Refugee Advocacy and the Nansen Refugee Award. Currently, she leads several women’s networks and humanitarian consortia focused on supporting vulnerable groups across the country.
