Hadi Masoumi Zare is an Iranian researcher and author specializing in the politics of Iran, Iraq, and the Levant, Islamist movements, and Iran’s regional relations. He is the author of four books in Persian and numerous articles on Islamist movements in the Middle East and Iran’s relations with Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. His work draws extensively on field research and interviews conducted across the region.
