Kim Johnson
Kim Johnson, born and raised in the Liverpool Riverside constituency, was elected as the city’s first Black MP in 2019. Liverpool has the oldest Black community in Europe, and Kim’s election marked a historic milestone. With a background in trade union activism, she has served as a shop steward and as vice chair of UNISON's National and Regional Black Members Committees. Kim is a strong advocate for the Palestinian cause and continues to use her platform to influence policy and drive change.
