Mounira Elsamra is a multimedia journalist with Middle East Eye, reporting on immigration and human-interest stories across the New York area. Prior to MEE, she served as an Associate News Desk Producer at CNN and was previously a News Associate in CNN’s News Associate Program in Atlanta. Elsamra also worked as a multimedia journalism intern with Thomson Reuters in Cairo, Egypt, where she focused on climate change and environmental issues.
