Sahar Huneidi is a historian with a PhD in Middle Eastern studies from the University of Manchester. She is the author of "A Broken Trust: Herbert Samuel, Zionism and the Palestinians, 1920-1925" and "The Hidden History of the Balfour Declaration", and co-editor of "Israel and Its Palestinian Citizens: Ethnic Privileges in the Jewish State". Her book "Zionism and the Creation of the 'New Jew'" is forthcoming from Bloomsbury in December 2026.
