Sondos Asem is Middle East Eye's Legal Editor, based in London. She covers international law and diplomacy. She is the producer and host of the Expert Witness podcast, a series featuring in-depth interviews with leading experts, diplomats and policymakers shaping the field. She holds an MSc in International Human Rights Law (2024) and a Master of Public Policy (2015) from the University of Oxford, and has over 20 years of experience in journalism, publishing, and translation.
