Israeli forces have killed at least 10 Palestinians since dawn, including an aid worker, Wafa news agency is reporting, citing medical sources.
According to the sources, six bodies were transferred to al-Shifa Hospital, two to Nasser Hospital, one to al-Amal Hospital and another to al-Aqsa Hospital.
Al Jazeera reported earlier that Tuesday's death toll stood at eight people.
The latest deaths come as ceasefire talks continue in Egypt.
The Vatican's top diplomat sharply criticised Israel's "ongoing massacre" in Gaza in comments published on Monday - one of the Catholic Church's strongest condemnations of Israel's genocide in Gaza.
In an interview tied to the second anniversary of Hamas' attack in Israel on 7 October, 2023, Cardinal Pietro Parolin also called those attacks "inhuman and indefensible" and urged Hamas to free remaining captives.
"Even legitimate defence must respect the principle of proportionality," said Parolin, the Vatican secretary of state and one of Pope Leo's top deputies.
"The war waged by the Israeli army to eliminate Hamas militants disregards the fact that it is targeting a largely defenceless population, already pushed to the brink, in an area where buildings and homes are reduced to rubble," he said.
"It is...clear that the international community is, unfortunately, powerless and that the countries truly capable of exerting influence have so far failed to act to stop the ongoing massacre," Parolin told the Vatican's media outlets.
When Zoe Cohen was hauled away by police officers for holding a handwritten sign in support of the now-proscribed direct action group Palestine Action, she could not hold back her tears.
“As they picked me up, all the emotion of the day, and not just the day, but the collective grief and the distress of what’s happening in Gaza, it just came out of me. I was sobbing,” she previously told Middle East Eye.
Now, with UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood announcing fresh protest restrictions in the wake of a deadly attack on a synagogue in Manchester on Thursday, Cohen’s grief, and her fears for her safety, have intensified.
“As a Jewish person, I've never felt more scared,” Cohen told MEE.
“But I feel scared because of this endless conflation of criticism of the state of Israel with antisemitism."

An Israeli air strike on Deir Aames in the Tyre district in southern Lebanon has killed one person and wounded another, according to Lebanon’s health ministry.
Another person was killed in a separate Israeli drone attack targeting a bulldozer in Yatar.
Qatar's foreign ministry spokesman said on Tuesday that Israel should have ceased operations in Gaza already in line with US President Donald Trump's peace plan.
"We await the outcomes of the negotiations in the coming days regarding the ceasefire. This question should be directed first to the Israeli occupation government. It was supposed to actually cease fire if the statements made by the prime minister there regarding adherence to the Trump plan were true," Majed al-Ansari told reporters in Doha.
The spokesperson also said that there were many details to be worked out on Trump's 20-point plan for the strip, adding that the future of the Palestinian people must be in the hands of the Palestinians alone.
In December 2023, South Africa accused Israel of genocide before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for its war on Gaza.
The subsequent hearing, a couple of weeks later, drew huge attention as Israel’s war was formally challenged on the world stage for the first time since the start of the current war.
But almost two years later, the ICJ, the world's highest court, is still hearing the case, with no judgement likely any time soon.
At the time of the hearing, the death toll in Gaza was just under 24,000, according to the Gaza health ministry. Since then, it has more than doubled: at least 66,000 Palestinians have now been killed since Israel declared war two years ago on 7 October 2023.
In July this year, the ICJ extended by six months the deadline for Israel to deliver its counter-arguments to South Africa’s allegations under the Genocide Convention, prompting fears the case would be delayed.
Meanwhile, this week, a UN commission of inquiry released what many say is the most significant report on Israel’s war to date, concluding that it has committed genocide in Gaza since 7 October 2023.

Israeli defence companies have been barred from the upcoming Dubai Airshow after a "technical review", its organiser said on Tuesday, without providing further details, two years into Israel's war on Gaza.
"The (Israeli) exhibitors that were previously coming won't be participating," said Tim Hawes, managing director of Informa Markets, which organises the show, on the sidelines of a press conference to announce details of the exhibition.
On the second anniversary of the Gaza war, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres renewed his call, “with even greater urgency”, for an end to hostilities and a permanent ceasefire.
“Two years ago today, Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups launched an abhorrent large-scale terror attack on Israel,” he said.
“On this day, let us remember all those who were killed and suffered horrific violence.”
He also called for the unconditional and immediate release of the captives.
Guterres said that US President Donald Trump's Gaza plan is an “opportunity that must be seized to bring this tragic conflict to an end”.
“This is a humanitarian catastrophe on a scale that defies comprehension. Put an end to the hostilities in Gaza, Israel & the region now. Stop making civilians pay with their lives & their futures,” he said.

Rice is the only nutritious food Mohamed Aldreini can afford to feed his 22-month-old daughter, Rewan.
The Palestinian toddler has never tasted her mother’s milk since being born in November 2023, a month after the Israeli genocide in Gaza began.
Rewan’s mother, now caring for four children, is battling depression.
Her body stopped producing milk after repeated trauma caused by the Israeli siege and relentless bombardment.
The family was forced to flee their home in Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, first to Gaza City, then to Khan Younis.
