Live: Over 200 Lebanese children killed in two months of Israeli attacks
Live Updates
During each Israeli incursion into the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, 53-year-old Zahra Mahmoud Mari gathers whatever clothes and essential items she can grab.
With her three daughters and husband, she leaves the family home on Mehyoub Street located in the heart of the camp and heads to the Shuhadaa neighbourhood on the outskirts of Jenin in search of safety.
There the family rent a small house using savings and the little income they have, which provides temporary safety from the Israeli occupation forces.
They stay there, transfixed to news reports, waiting for the announcement that the Israelis have left so they can return home.
“It’s not easy to leave our home and camp,” Mari told MEE.

Israel has failed to meet the US' demands to allow for greater humanitarian aid access to the besieged Gaza Strip, several international aid groups have said in a report.
The US told Israel last month that it had 30 days to significantly increase the humanitarian aid it allows into Gaza, with the deadline expiring on Tuesday.
"Israel not only failed to meet the U.S. criteria that would indicate support to the humanitarian response, but concurrently took actions that dramatically worsened the situation on the ground, particularly in Northern Gaza," the report said. "That situation is in an even more dire state today than a month ago."
The report was co-signed by Anera, Care, MedGlobal, Mercy Corps, the Norwegian Refugee Council, Oxfam, Refugees International and Save the Children.
It states that out of 19 listed measures of compliance with US demands, Israel has failed to comply with 15 and only partially complied with four.
The Israeli army has sent several bombing notices to residents of Beirut's southern suburbs, targeting several buildings across the area.
Residents are sometimes given just a few minutes to leave before the bombings begin.

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said that "there will be no ceasefire and no pause in Lebanon" until his country's war objectives are met.
Katz added on X that Israel's attacks "must continue to weaken Hezbollah’s capabilities and achieve the fruits of victory".
"We will continue to strike Hezbollah with full force until the war’s objectives are achieved," he said.
"Israel will not agree to any arrangement that does not guarantee its right to enforce and prevent terrorism independently, ensuring the war’s goals in Lebanon are met, including disarming Hezbollah, pushing them beyond the Litani River, and allowing northern residents to return to their homes safely."

Gaza's civil defence agency said Tuesday that at least 14 people were killed in Israeli strikes on the Palestinian territory.
"At least 14 people were killed and dozens injured early Tuesday morning after several (Israeli) strikes on the Gaza Strip," spokesman Mahmoud Bassal told AFP.
Youth claiming solidarity with Palestinians attacked a tram in Amsterdam's suburb, setting it on fire, smashing windows and yelling abusive language.
This comes days after Israeli Maccabi fans in the Dutch capital for a football match provoked locals last week by chanting anti-Arab slogans, tearing down Palestinian flags and attacking some taxi drivers.
Some residents responded by attacking the Israeli football fans.

We look forward to seeing that promise actualized through immediate peace measures in Lebanon and Palestine,” said Faye Nemer, the CEO and founder of the organisation.
