Ahmed Altuwaijri is a Saudi academic, lawyer and poet, with a PhD in comparative philosophy from the University of Oregon. He is a former professor and dean of the College of Education at King Saud University in Riyadh, and served two consecutive terms as a member of Saudi Arabia's Shura Council. He is president of International Justice, a France-based non-profit organisation that documents war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide and pursues the prosecution of their perpetrators, and of the World Peace Forum, a non-profit organisation promoting a culture of peace.
